The Ultra-Aire XT155H high-capacity, whole-house ventilating dehumidifier features revolutionary XT (Extreme Technology) dehumidification. XT dehumidification allows this unit to remove up to 155 pints of water a day, provide fresh air ventilation, while using only an unprecedented 8.0 amps (7.3 pints per Kilowatt hour). The UA XT155H is Energy Star® rated and effectively dehumidifies up to 3500 square feet.

The Ultra-Aire XT155H includes air filtration to improve indoor air quality. A MERV 11 media filter is standard. An optional external MERV 14 filter box and deep pleated 95% media filter is available for optimum air filtration and to reduce potentially harmful airborne particles. If the optional filter is chosen, a standard filter operates as a prefilter.

Therma-Stor does not recommend drawing air from the return ducting system and discharging into the supply, because it could reduce the capacity and may cause potential counterflow through the unit. Preferred installation is to draw air from a separate intake duct , ducting outlet air into the supply; using a backdraft damper.
